It's Official — LA Also Bidding to Host 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games

On Sept. 15, 2015, the nonprofit LA24 officially launched a bid for Los Angeles to host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The bid came after a favorable vote by the LA City Council in support of the city’s attempt to bring the Summer Games back to the United States for the first time in 28 years.
